Even though it was raining cats and dogs Saturday night, my friends and I went out to celebrate a birthday. Cafe Citron in Dupont Circle was amazing!The decor is interesting, the staff friendly and you have no choice but to enjoy the Latin ambiance of this place. The drinks and food were very reasonable and extremely tasty! Cafe Citron has a happy hour menu on Saturdays from 4-8pm. Additionally, the entrees are just as delicious. I tried their calypso sauce, which opened up my nose and stung my tongue....but it went great with the fried zucchini. If you need to spice things up, head on out to Cafe Citron. And if you go on Saturday, ask for Daniel to be your wait staff.
