I'm not really into Halloween; however, I do like eating the candy--Twizzlers, Snickers, Butterfingers and even Peanut M & Ms. Even as I youngster, I was not that excited about Halloween. I'm not big on scary things--costumes or even scary movies. My idea of dressing up for this holiday as a child was a bit odd. I remember being a witch (a smart cute witch) and a cheerleader (chanting positive cheers to make people smile).
As an adult, I've been Judge Judy (used my college graduation gown & sewed on a lace collar) and now a medical worker for Operation Smile. OK, so these are not exciting costumes...and that's OK. This Halloween, my best friend AM and I are going out to dinner in downtown Silver Spring. I think I'll wear my costume...ER scrubs from the show "Life in the ER". Not sure why I'm sporting the medical theme this year. But then again, I have an odd relationship with this holiday known as Halloween. Take 2 Snickers and call me in the morning. Happy Halloween!
