Well, another Earth Hour as come and gone. Did you participate? I did. This year I just lit candles in my bedroom & bathroom. I decided to use this hour time to think about what I accomplished since Earth Hour 2010, what earth-conscious choices I could commit to for the rest of 2011 & what personal & earth-conscious choices I've made so far in 2011. I was partaking in some heavy duty thinking this year. I just read the Washington Post by candlelight during last year's event. Wow, I took it up a notch. LOL
Again, I want to thank my friend, Nicole, for getting me hip to the Earth Hour movement. This year, I told many people about the event. I just hope they participated. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. Next year, I may plan an Earth Hour Dessert party. Who needs lights to enjoy sweets? Sweets by candlelight. Yumo!
