The Ansel Adams in Me

I love how snow falls on trees and settles on the branches. Photographer Ansel Adams has a wonderful photography entitled, Oak Tree, Snowstorm. He took his picture in 1948 in the Yosemite National Park. That photography is one of my favorites. I have had the pleasure of viewing two exhibits of his amazing work (in 1985 & 2008).

The above picture is my interpretation of Oak Tree, Snowstorm. I took my picture from inside my house through one of my cathedral windows during the last snowstorm (1/08/10). There is something so peaceful about this picture. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
