Me & CNN

Since I can remember, I have been a news junkie. I have to read what's going on in the world, the US & Maryland. I read The Washington Post every morning and try to read The New York Times when possible. I also read my local paper, The Gazette. I think I'm a news junkie because of my need "to know"..."to be informed." My news junkiness goes beyond reading the paper. I have to watch CNN. Thank you Ted Turner for creating this news channel!

I have a confession...I love Roland Martin and Anderson Cooper! Not sure why, but I just do. Yes, I watch AC360 and yes, I did join Twitter last week to follow him during President Obama's trip to Africa. Roland was an excellent host on No Bias, No Bull. He does not have a Twitter account. Darn.






My parents are avid CNN viewers/fans and have their own CNN favorites. My dad thinks the best reporter out there in the field is Christiane Amanpour. Let's face it, she truly goes where the stories are regardless of the danger. He also loves Soledad O'Brien. My mom likes Wolf Blitzer and not just because she taught his daughter when mom was a teacher. There's something about The Situation Room. Then there's Don Lemon, who she tries to watch on the weekend. She also likes David Gergen. So, as you can see, watching CNN is a family affair.
