Recipe Thursday...Hot Mustard Packets

Yes, it's been awhile since my last Recipe Thursday posting. After being delinquent for just about a month, I've decided to post a Recipe Thursday once a month. The recipe for today is one I made-up based on marinades I've seen in my various recipe collection. I used it on three turkey drumsticks I'm cooking right now as I write this posting. My house smells so good. I can't wait to eat one of those drumsticks.

When you order Chinese food, do you throw the hot mustard packets in a drawer? I keep mine in jar in the spice cabinet. Let's face it, the hot mustard isn't really hot...it's just tart/tangy. Well, this morning I decided to make my own marinade. Here's the recipe. Feel free to make adjustments. Enjoy!

6-7 hot mustard packets
2-3 regular mustard packets
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup sweet white wine
sprinkle of sugar

*Whisk together
*Pour in zip lock bag with your poultry
*Place in frig for a few hours or overnight.
