I attended the MASTROGIURATO PARADE at the FESTA ITALIANA in downtown Silver Spring last weekend. It was an interesting experience. The entire presentation/celebration was in Italian, but was translated into English. Italian is such a beautiful language. (My dad and I always end our telephone conversations with Ciao. His Italian is rusty, but he sometimes mixes it into our conversations.) There's nothing like learning about/experiencing other cultural celebrations.
