Where's Waldo?

It's been a while (5 weeks) since I've updated my blog. In those 5 weeks, I've been very busy. I completed the Spring semester of grad school and taken/passed my comprehensive exams. :-) What a better way to recover from all that studying then by a quick mini-mini vacation. Thus...

In mid-May, I went to Europe for the day and had an amazing time. Actually, I attend the European Union Embassies' Open House event. This year, I went to Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Ireland & the Netherlands. I was able to enjoy these various countries via dancing, music and food. The best food was at the Irish Embassy (various Irish delicacies), the best beverage was at the Bulgarian Embassy (a shot of red wine) and the best bag was provided by the United Kingdom Embassy. I'm a sucker for a bag--a good sturdy bag that is. I plan to go to next year's open house. My first two stops will be the Italian Embassy and then the Swedish Embassy. Here are a few pictures from my adventure.

Visiting the various embassies always stirs up the travel bug. Have passport...need to travel aboard...SOON!
