Every couple of months, my best friend PB and I meet at the IKEA in College Park to have lunch, talk and people watch. Truth be told, we really like to people-watch @ IKEA. If you've ever been to the College Park IKEA, you know that the second floor, towards the front of the building, contains the IKEA Restaurant which has great food @ very reasonable prices. The best feature of the restaurant is the lengthy glass window that faces the parking lot. PB and I find a table near the window, eat, talk and watch.
For yesterday's meeting, we decided to have linner (lunch + dinner = linner)@ 4pm. We talked about this & that and everything in between. We witnessed so many interesting happenings in the parking lot. It's like a TV show without the volume but with plenty of action. By no means were PB and I the only ones enjoying the parking lot happenings. When an argument over a parking space started, a group of us (me, PB, a young mother & her son)began cheering for the husband and his pregnant wife who were in the right for pulling into the parking space.
Before we left, but after it had rained, we were graced with a beautiful sight...a rainbow. As I was taking a picture of it, PB asked why I always have a camera with me. I told her that you never know what you might encounter and want to document what you see.
Case in point....the rainbow @ IKEA. Enjoy!
"you never know what you might encounter" So true. So true!
