My house is in the woods & there is a stream not too far from my backyard. Since moving to my neigborhood, I've had the pleasure (but most time the surprise)of meeting many of God's creatures around my house. Over the years, I have had several deer families spending time on my patio, a red fox family hanging out on my front lawn, a very large turtle knocking on my sliding glass door, a multi-colored brown frog waiting on my walkway as I arrive home from class and a salamander(with a neon light blue streak down its back) exercising on the bricks near the front door.
I have a new visitor to my house this summer. Everyone, I would like for you to meet Greeny, the praying mantis.

Greeny first appeared on the bricks near the front door, but now I see Greeny exploring my azalea bush. Sometimes I don't know when he's there. When I step outside to get the newspaper, I find myself stopping by the azalea bush to try and find Greeny. He blends so well that we don't always get to say "Good morning" to each other.
I wonder what other of God's creatures will my house be a reststop for, since Fall is just around the corner?
